Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Definitions
1.1 The Buyer means the Account Applicant or person who buys or agrees to buy Goods from the Seller.
1.2 The Seller means The Cane Centre Newry
1.3 Conditions means the Conditions of Sales set out in this document and any special conditions agreed in writing by the Seller.
2. Conditions
2.1 These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
2.2 All contracts of sale made by the Seller shall be deemed to incorporate these terms and conditions which shall prevail over any other documents or communication from the Buyer.
2.3 If any amendments to this terms and conditions are required it is preferable that they be confirmed in writing.
2.4 Acceptance of delivery of Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the Buyers acceptance of these Conditions.
3. Prices
3.1 The Price shall be that as shown on the website.
3.2 All Prices are inclusive of VAT.
3.3 Payment is due in full . Payment by the following methods will incur 2.5% extra charge i) Credit Card of any type 2) Paypal . All other forms of Payment eg Cheque Debit card Bank Transfer will not incur any extra charges.
4. Forms of Payment and Charges

5. Warranty and Liability
5.1 The standard warranty Provided on the goods is 12 Months. Some products do come with an extended manufacturers warranty. In such cases the extended warranty period will be the one in force.
6. Delivery
6.1 Products supplied within the UK will normally be delivered within 2-4 working weeks of receipt of order.
6.2 Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, and if this delivery date cannot be met the Buyer will be given the option to agree a new delivery date.
6.3 Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and the Seller shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the Buyer or any other person or Company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet an estimated delivery date.
6.4 Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the delivery address stated on the order and the Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.
7.Cancellation Policy & Cooling of Period.
7.1Consumer Contract regulations only apply to your order if the goods have not been custom made to your specification or if you have not examined the product in our showrooms. If the Consumer Contract Regulations do apply you can cancel your furniture by notifying us, in writing, within 14 working days after placing the order assuming the product hasn't left for delivery.
7.2Should you wish to return the goods it is your responsibility to take good care of the furniture. You are the owner of the furniture once it has been delivered to you and you are liable for any loss or damage. If you request delivery to the Uk Mainland you will own the furniture when it is delivered to a third Partys warehouse and you are liable for any loss or damage. Failure to take reasonable care may result in a claim against you. To minimise the risk of any such claim we ask that you return the goods in appropriate packaging such as to prevent damage in transit.
7.3It is your responsibility to return the items to store in good condition. However we recognise that many customers do not have the means to do this, and so we canĀ arrange collection during normal business hours (Monday to Friday) if requested. In such circumstances a charge of up to 15% of the price of the goods will be made to cover the cost of collecting the items. This charge will be calculated according to the number of items to be returned, your location and complexity of removal.This charge will be in addition to the cost of delivery.
8. Complaints
8.1 If you have a complaint about our service or any goods or services you purchase from The Cane Centre then please contact us immediately. You will be contacted as soon as possible and definitely within 24 hours of our hearing from you and aim to provide a resolution within 7 working days.
8.2 All complaints will be dealt with in a fair and confidential manner.
9. Misc
9.1 Any contracts shall in all respects be construed and operate as an Uk contract and in conformity with UK law.
9.2 If any part of these terms and conditions that is not fundamental is found to be illegal or unenforceable, such finding will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of these terms and conditions.
